Overview

Vision

The Masonic Senior Services Program serves as a vital resource to assist older adults and caregivers of the Ohio Masonic Fraternity by educating and informing them about long term care, assessing needs, and facilitating access to quality services and benefits. The program serves as an advocate for all Ohio Masons, whether in their own home or living within the Masonic Continuing Care Retirement Communities, and seeks innovative solutions to service gaps and community needs.

Mission Statement

The I-CARE program seeks to provide assistance in planning for long-term care options and linkages to community based services and benefits that support dignity, choice and independence for older adult Masons, their allied groups, and their families.

Overview

I-CARE is a two-fold program.

  • The I-CARE Service Coordinators are an information referral source for senior Masons, their wives or widows. They coordinate with clients those community and/or government agencies and programs that will allow them to age in place and maintain independence in their homes. In addition, the Coordinator provides assistance with accessing those same agencies and programs as well as sorting through medical and insurance paperwork issues.
  • The I-CARE committee is a group of volunteers led by a fraternal member to assist in offsetting those resources not available in all areas.
